I left my first view of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood eager to see it again. There was simply too much to absorb on a single viewing. And while the first viewing was mesmerizing, the second was clarifying.
There is still more to say on Once Upon a Time, particularly the use of violence as fantasy (or the use of fantasy as violence), but that will wait for another time. Until then, Sharon Tate lives once more on the silver screen and it’s a beautiful thing.
