This week in Film — Weekend Two of the Denver Film Festival and LONG DAY’S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT

The 42nd Denver Film Festival wraps up Nov. 10, but there are still a slew of movies to see. For this week’s Boulder Weekly, I highlight three: The Twentieth Century, Premature, Sorry We Missed You — the latter is one of the best things I’ve seen at this year’s festival. And toughest.

And though it has passed, CU’s International Film Series and Program Council partnered to bring China’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night to campus, in 3D, and for free. It’s one of the best movies of 2019, and those who got to go, were treated to something rare and special.
