This week in Film — LITTLE WOMEN and MONSIEUR HIRE

Opening Christmas Day, Little Women is easily one of the year’s best and a cinematic adaptation fit for the 21st century.

And since one great movie deserves another, Monsieur Hire — a favorite of Roger Ebert, he picked it for his Great Movie’s collection in 2012 — will be getting the Interruptus treatment this Saturday at the Denver Public Library’s Smiley Branch. They call it “Guerrilla Film School,” and it is class is open to the public.
