And the winner is…

On Jan. 24, the Denver Film Critics Society—a group of writers, broadcasters, and bloggers working in and around the Mile High City, of which I am one—announced their picks for the best of 2025.

Of the 44 movies nominated, Sinners took home seven awards, with Avatar: Fire and Ash, KPop Demon Hunter, and One Battle After Another netting two apiece.
