Audiences want good movies-films that entertain them, films that move them to tears. It doesn’t matter if they’re made by artists with a more unconventional mindset, or by people with a more traditional mindset. The executives who were here before me made the mistake of thinking that Pixar was successful because we made CG movies. We were successful because we made good movies, with strong story lines, and appealing characters. And it’s Walt Disney who taught us that lesson.
